From Thorens-Glieres take road to Usillon.  Through Usillon to right turn for la Verrerie.  Through village to left turn signposted les Molliets.  Follow track till end and park near footbridge over river.  Over bridge and take right hand path up the hill.  After 15/20 minutes path leads to large ampitheatre.  Entrance is at far end at base of cliff.

Tanne De Trois Betas   & Bel Espoir

From village of Aviernoz take road which soon degenerates to a very rough track leading to Chalet De L'Anglettez.  Park cars at chalet and take path up hill signposted Grotte De L'Enfor.  After about half an hour path splits at a boulder with "Grotte" painted on it in orange. Take right hand path, past a path off left (marked as leading to "Grotte Du Diable" to a junction just after two shakeholes.  Follow vague left hand path to a limestone pavement and look for a line of cairns. 

Cairns marked in red paint lead after 10 minutes to a group of shakeholes.  The entrance to the Tanne De Trois Betas is at the far side of these and is marked by 'Tanne De 3B' painted on a block above the entrance.

An unmarked line of cairns cairns lead left off the marked route just after it comes onto the limestone pavement.  These lead after 10 minutes to Tanne De Bel Espoir, easily recognizable by the large red warning sign nailed to a tree near the entrance.
